Outputs from November Cafe
December 7, 2007
On November 15th, WOSU Public Media and COSI hosted the first Columbus Social Media Café with local bloggers. We used an Open Space format for the meeting and had some terrific conversations on a number of topics that addressed the question: What Can We Do Together that We Cannot Alone to Change this community Using Social Media?
As we prepare for our next Café session on December 10th, we want to make sure and capture the discussions that took place that created so much energy about moving forward in our partnership with the local blogger community in Columbus.
You can continue these discussions on the Columbus Social Media Café site:
SESSION TOPIC: Capturing the stories of our citizens. Their lives—past and present—as a celebration of rich and dynamic population
SESSION TOPIC: How to help people become comfortable with technology promoting education and awareness to unite over technology of standards
SESSION TOPIC: Citizen Journalism/ WOSU/ using traditional media
SESSION TOPIC: Supporting Local Retail
SESSION TOPIC—Talking online/offline
SESSION TOPIC: How to create “safe” space for diverse voices to discuss community issues
